My client is a Global IT consultancy working within central government.

This role is based full time onsite in Leatherhead and is paying up to £ inside IR35.

This role requires ACTIVE SC Clearance. Please do not apply if you do not hold active SC clearance.

Role Description

Join a well-established Agile delivery project supporting an operational system with close collaboration with the client team.

The system uses a variety of database and software systems and tools that are in the process of modernisation. This will address hardware obsolescence and include adoption of the latest cloud and DevSecOps technologies. This is an opportunity to influence key technology decisions and to apply your skills in specifying, configuring, and maintaining development and operational systems.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• Comprehensive understanding of DevSecOps concepts, advantages, and challenges in its implementation.
• Experience of implementing DevSecOps processes, including:
• Selection of tools such as orchestration, automated testing, and security scanning, application deployment.
• Definition of infrastructure including physical and virtual infrastructure, including infrastructure as code.
• Deployment, maintenance, and administration of tools.
• Experience of containerisation in the design and deployment of container orchestration software.
• Experience supporting users including developers, testers, and other stakeholders in their use of the DevSecOps environments.
• Ability to explain the benefits of DevSecOps solutions to stakeholders including developers, test teams, clients, and managers.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in architecting full DevSecOps solutions, including documenting and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
• Track record in successful transition of project developments to DevSecOps processes.
• Experience in secure environments and managing security classification barriers.
