We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Platform Engineer (On-Prem/Cloud) Consultant for a permanent, on-site role.

Requirements

• Develop, manage, and support infrastructure underpinning platforms, applications, and data.
• Automate processes to enable rapid, secure delivery of capabilities.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code for automation from development to production.
• Passion for improving workflows and understanding market trends.
• Stakeholder needs understanding and effective communication.
• Code review and governance participation.
• Ensure systems are secure by design, familiar with NCSC principles.
• Manage security of platforms, including secrets, tokens, and certificates.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure proper development and delivery processes.
• Plan projects and contribute to project management decisions.
• Design, secure, and maintain on-prem/cloud infrastructure.
• Make and communicate effective technical decisions, resolve disputes.
• Communicate complex info clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Expose and link data via APIs, deliver streaming services.
• Document deployment risks and implement security controls.
• Monitor infrastructure security and ensure compliance.
• Identify vulnerabilities early, deploy secure software faster, and adhere to standards.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Ideal candidates: Experience with security teams, infrastructure design, hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), testing, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, training, incident management, and Terraform/YAML deployments.

This role requires or is willing to undergo Security Clearance, including a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check.
