Location – London, Hybrid
The team offers support 07:00-18:00 and you will be working on a rotational basis. Occasional out of hours work will be required, this will be paid or time off in lieu.
Key Responsibilities Include:
You’ll be using advanced technical knowledge to ensure consistent and automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments, continually drive improvements in DevOps methodologies and the technologies used for deployments, and work on a variety of projects to make sure the systems in your area are working effectively and has the capability needed for the future.
This includes ensuring security and compliance is always a considered point of when configuring and deploying any service or environment.
As a strong communicator you will build relationships with other teams and our users to understand the requirements and improvements that can be made, and will be collaborating with Architecture, Development and Machine Learning/AI teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
You’ll take ownership of new technical developments in your area and will be responsible for managing your work to meet project and operational deadlines, including SLAs around day-to-day support.
You will be an experienced in DevOps with the ability to deliver a mixture of assisted design, implementation, maintenance, and operational support for these technologies & systems:
Azure DevOps for development and deployment of solutions using CI/CD pipelines
Experience of Bicep and ARM templated deployments, with an understanding of Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (, PowerShell, Python, Bash).
VMware operational knowledge regardingmanagement, configuration and deployment
Understanding and use of HCI solutions - Nutanix preferred
You’ll be writing and maintaining design, installation and configuration documentation.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal – you’ll be able to communicate highly technical terms to a range of stakeholders from a diverse user base.
Experience working in a technical team where you have been key in developing a DevOps culture as well as resolving technical problems, delivering upgrades and continuous improvements.
Experienced in helping to define technical solutions to meet requirements – you’ll have carried out implementation and detailed level support.
