DevOps - Full Stack Engineer

Hybrid working (60% office - 40% remote)

7 Month contract initially, good scope for extension

£450 - £475 P/D (Umbrella-PAYE)

One of our blue chip clients is looking for a DevOps - Full Stack Engineer to join the team on a long-term programme of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solid experience in CI/CD
  2. Advanced knowledge and experience using CloudBees Jenkins (Installation, configuration, and administration)
  3. Experience with Cloud Platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform, including interacting with Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Logging
  4. Container orchestration with Kubernetes, with experience in GKE, AKS, EKS, and container management tooling
  5. Strong experience in developing Object-Oriented code (such as Python, Groovy, and shell scripting)
  6. Experience with declarative Jenkins pipeline development and designing branching strategies
  7. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
  8. Strong experience with DevOps release principles, problem management, and incident support
  9. Experience leading a pod and assisting with product backlog grooming
  10. Desire to contribute to team members' career development
  11. Familiarity with agile Scrum processes
  12. Cost optimization design for solutions
  13. Experience with security and change management tooling such as SNOW, SAST/DAST tools
  14. Strong communication skills for interacting with engineering teams and senior management
