Job summary

Envitia seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate secure cloud platforms. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC and observability across AWS, Azure and container platforms, in regulated government and defence environments.

You will work in multidisciplinary Agile teams across London and Horsham, with onsite presence required and security clearance consideration. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
• Container platforms: Kubernetes/OpenShift/EKS/ECS.
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitLab/Jenkins or equivalent.
• Monitoring/observability in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
• Security, governance and regulatory compliance in cloud environments.
• Experience in government/defence or national security environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC and automation.
• Support and optimise AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS and ECS.
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions.
