Job summary

IMG’s Technology team is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure infrastructure and delivery pipelines across our digital and broadcast platforms.

You will enable continuous delivery, improve reliability, and support high-profile clients and live event services, leveraging cloud-first architectures, IaC, CI/CD, and comprehensive observability tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Python or Bash; Ansible.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Understanding networking, security, and system architecture.
• Experience in high-availability/live production environments desirable.
• Git version control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across teams.
• Automate provisioning with IaC tools.
• Monitor performance using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery tested.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations to streamline deployments.
• Act as escalation point for production incidents.
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Optimize performance and cost across cloud environments.
• Document infrastructure and procedures clearly.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Support live event operations where uptime is critical.
• Communicate issues and risks to stakeholders.
