Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with experience in Infrastructure as Code to join a dedicated team supporting a secure platform for the Home Office. The role involves automation, integration, testing, and operational support, with opportunities to develop new features and improve existing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain, configure, develop, and support secure platforms within a multi-disciplinary DevOps team.
  2. Automate deployment, configuration, and integration processes.
  3. Collaborate with IT Operations, Development, and Service teams to promote a DevOps culture.
  4. Manage continuous integration, delivery, version control, and release management.
  5. Provision cloud environments and automate infrastructure processes.
  6. Work closely with customers to ensure high service levels.
  7. Participate in on-call support, as scheduled.
Essential Skills & Experience:

Candidates should have hands-on experience with at least some of the following technologies:

  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Ansible, Helm, Terraform
  • Containerisation & Orchestration: Rancher, Kubernetes
  • Cloud & Virtualisation: AWS, VMware
  • Monitoring & Logging: Elastic Stack (ELK/ECK)
  • Version Control & CI/CD: GitLab
