Job summary

BC Platforms is seeking a motivated DevOps engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines from a remote UK base. You will automate deployments, improve reliability, security, and observability while supporting cross-country teams.

You will also mentor teammates and grow into a DevOps leadership role, leveraging AI-native tooling and modern practices. Start date is September 2026, with a permanent, full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with Azure.
  • Expertise with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
  • Solid Linux, Git, and production systems administration skills.
  • Experience developing automation solutions in Python or similar languages.
  • Experience running and securing production environments.
  • AI-native working style with regular use of tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation capabilities.

Your roadmap in this role

  • Stabilize active DevOps initiatives and accelerate delivery velocity
  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements
Within a year
  • Deliver highly automated, reliable, and observable deployment processes
  • Significantly reduce operational toil through automation and AI-native practices
What makes you a strong fit
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related fields
