About the team

As a DevOps Engineer at Worldpay, you will be an active member in developing & supporting the product, adopting best CI/CD practices & increasing the speed and resiliency of our delivery practices. Collaborate on product vision and roadmap with various teams across the business. Be part of an agile team in the day-to-day execution of sprint. Keep up with DevOps best practices and trends.

What you'll own

1. Design, build and manage our AWS infrastructure via Terraform / Cloudformation
2. Design, build and manage CI/CD tools (e.g CloudBees Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus) in Kubernetes
3. Provide technical consultation to our internal development teams
4. Present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
5. Understand the team objectives and ensure that the team is on the path to achieving their Sprint / PI Goals
6. Participate in code reviews, retros, demos & other ceremonies
7. Other duties to facilitate smooth running of the team

What you bring

1. Minimum 3+ years of professional work experience as a DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineer
2. Experience in K8s (containerisation technology), helm & Terraform (IaC)
3. Experience in AWS/Azure infrastructure management and automation
4. Experience in one or more coding/scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
5. Experience in Configuration Management (Ansible/Puppet) & CI/CD automation
6. Experience around monitoring, alerting & logging
7. Experience with fundamental Linux administration
8. Good communication & presentation skills
9. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
10. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
