Job summary

CGI, delivering mission-critical systems for national security, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and evolve resilient infrastructure underpinning defence and intelligence programmes. You will automate CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, collaborating with development and testing teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes, Argo and Rancher
• Linux environments and package management (RPM/Yum)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet
• Developer experience in Java, Go or scripting (Python, Bash)
• Git or SVN source control experience
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
• Collaborate effectively within Agile delivery teams

Responsibilities

• Design & Maintain resilient infrastructure across complex environments
• Automate & Optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Collaborate & Troubleshoot with development and testing teams
• Implement & Support Infrastructure as Code solutions (e.g., Puppet, Kubernetes)
• Enhance & Assure system quality through testing and validation practices
• Contribute & Deliver within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) frameworks
