Qualifications

Referment is working with a global financial-services technology company offering a transaction payments platform and APIs covering embedded finance, payment accounts, FX, rapid payouts and physical and virtual card issuing. A regulated e-money institution operating in the UK and Europe, it is part of a wider financial-technology group and delivers API-driven payments infrastructure to corporate and fintech clients.

Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments. Integrate AI tooling into daily engineering workflows - code, infrastructure and incident response - as a default way of working. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code standards and build scalable CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery. Drive platform reliability, observability and operational excellence, implementing monitoring, logging and alerting frameworks for critical applications. Lead incident response, root-cause analysis and platform improvements. Ensure infrastructure meets security, governance and compliance requirements, and support business continuity, disaster recovery and high-availability initiatives. Champion DevOps culture and mentor engineers on cloud, automation and DevOps practices.

Требования

Genuine, demonstrated enthusiasm for AI-assisted engineering - daily use of tools like Claude Code, Copilot or equivalent as a core part of how you work. Significant experience in a Senior DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering role. Deep expertise in public cloud infrastructure, strong Kubernetes and containerisation experience, and proven IaC with Terraform or similar. Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of networking, security and cloud architecture, with a track record of improving reliability and operational performance.
