Job Description:

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong software engineering mindset to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code to automate infrastructure, streamline development workflows, and optimize deployment pipelines. You’ll play a key role in building the internal tools, services, and environments that enable software engineers to deliver high-quality features quickly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate the software development lifecycle
2. Develop internal tools and services in C# to support build automation, deployment, and testing
3. Refactor and enhance existing codebases to improve stability, performance, and maintainability
4. Automate environment provisioning for development, testing, and production
5. Support migration of workloads to cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS)
6. Monitor and improve build infrastructure performance, helping scale services effectively
7. Collaborate closely with software engineers and QA to identify and remove bottlenecks in the dev process
8. Interface with corporate dev services and IT to align infrastructure and development workflows

Minimum Qualifications:

1. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2. Strong programming skills in C# and familiarity with object-oriented design principles
3. Solid experience with DevOps practices and software delivery automation
4. Hands-on experience building and deploying containerized applications (e.g., Docker)
5. Familiarity with Windows systems and virtualization platforms
6. A passion for improving engineering workflows and team productivity

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or Jenkins
2. Familiarity with source control and artifact management tools (e.g., Git, NuGet, Conan)
3. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
4. Understanding of cloud infrastructure and APIs (Azure, AWS)
5. Experience with performance profiling and system optimization
