DevOps Engineer - Core Platform- Systematic Quant Fund

Experience: 2 - 20 years

Summary:
Our client is a leading tech-driven quant and systematic hedge fund trading with offices across the globe. They leverage deep knowledge in data, research, technology and trading to deliver high-quality returns. This opportunity offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent scope for career growth.

As a DevOps Engineer, your primary focus will be building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure. Working with software engineers to ensure development follows best practice, your workload will be varied. Tasks include: automating & improving development & release processes, managing environment deployments & upgrades, identifying CI/CD pipeline problems & developing updates/fixes, and building tools and APIs to improve customer experience.

Requirements:

  1. Solid DevOps experience in a similar role
  2. Good knowledge of Git and Windows & Linux scripting (Batch files/Powershell/Bash)
  3. Strong Python knowledge, plus familiarity with C/C++, Make, CMake
  4. Working knowledge of Postgres or SQL in general
  5. Team player essential with excellent communication skills

Desirable:
  1. Experience with configuration management tools, e.g. Ansible
  2. Experience working within a mature CI/CD process
  3. Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning
