Mobilise Cloud is seeking a DevOps & Cloud Support Engineer to join our team in Winchester on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on supporting AWS and Azure, administering Amazon Connect, and developing IaC with Terraform and scripting across Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.

You will escalate complex issues, optimise cloud services, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-critical applications. Competence in multiple cloud tools and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years foundational experience in cloud/DevOps roles.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud services.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid Winchester role.

Responsibilities

• Act as third-line escalation expert for complex cloud issues.
• Manage and support multi-cloud footprint (AWS and Azure).
• Administer and enhance Amazon Connect platform (Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Develop IaC with Terraform and PowerShell; manage code via GitLab.
• Support Azure VPNs, storage, and integration with AWS networking.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Intune, Defender, CA).
• Build integration workflows with Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
• Collaborate with teams and clients to deliver projects.
• Contribute to Generative AI initiatives in Amazon Connect.

In this role, you will be the crucial escalation point for complex technical challenges, supporting and improving our multi-cloud environment with a primary focus on AWS and Amazon Connect.

In this role, you will be the crucial escalation point for complex technical challenges, supporting and improving our multi-cloud environment with a primary focus on AWS and Amazon Connect.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of foundational experience to deepen their expertise in infrastructure-as-code, cloud services, and mission-critical application support within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Act as a third-line escalation expert, diagnosing and resolving complex issues across our cloud infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Manage and support our multi-cloud footprint (AWS and Azure), including IAM, networking, and core services.
• Administer and enhance our Amazon Connect platform, a core focus of this role. This includes:
• Investigating and resolving issues using CloudWatch Logs and Insights.
• Supporting and maintaining Lambda Functions (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).
• Managing services like Synthetics Canaries and Kinesis Streams.
• Refactoring and modularising Contact Flows for better performance and maintainability.
• Promoting changes across Dev, UAT, and Production environments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and PowerShell, managing the export/import lifecycle via GitLab repositories.
• Support Azure infrastructure, including Site-to-Site (S2S) and Point-to-Site (P2S) VPNs, storage accounts, and its integration with our AWS networking infrastructure.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Defender, and Conditional Access Policies.
• Build and support integration workflows using Azure Functions and Logic Apps for authentication and data exchange between Azure and AWS.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery.
• Contribute to innovation by assisting with the implementation of Generative AI solutions in Amazon Connect and supporting exploratory projects like Amazon NovaSonic.
