Job summary

VIQU IT is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid London role on an inside IR35 basis. You will join an engineering team focused on secure, reliable, and high‑performing services supporting core systems.

This role suits someone who enjoys problem solving, automation, and agile ways of working with modern tooling. Experience with on‑premises Kubernetes/OpenShift and Terraform is essential, with AWS/Azure cloud exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience in defence, military, or nuclear environments.
• Background in DevOps using on‑premises Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Observability with ELK, Splunk, Grafana.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Requirements:

• We require valid and transferrable SC Clearance.
• We require a background in defence, military, or nuclear environments performing a DevOps role.
• We require previous experience working in an air-gapped environment.
• We require experience with issue resolution and roadmap-driven enhancements.
• We require experience working in a production environment with strong on-premises Kubernetes or OpenShift deployments.
• We require experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• We require experience with observability tools, including end-to-end logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting systems using ELK, Splunk, and Grafana.
• We require experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
