Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS & Cloud Security) to join a fully remote role with monthly Guildford visits. You will design and maintain infrastructure across AWS and private clouds, automate deployments with Terraform and Ansible, and build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

You'll work on cloud security, observability, and networking while developing your skills through training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS experience and Linux networking skills.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible; Kubernetes knowledge.
• AWS certification desirable.

Responsibilities

DevOps Engineer (AWS & Cloud Security)

£65,000 - £70,000 + Progression + Company Benefits + Remote

Fully Remote + Monthly Guildford Visit

Are you a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience looking to work on complex cloud infrastructure projects within the cyber security industry?

Do you want to join an industry-leading business with a highly skilled technical team, working on challenging infrastructure projects for major blue-chip companies including BT, Zoom and Microsoft?

Established in 1980's, this leading technology business is a specialist systems integrator working across business communications, networking, cloud, AI, automation and cyber security. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to take ownership of their infrastructure and automation across AWS and private cloud environments.

In this role, you'll design and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure, automate deployments using Terraform and Ansible, and build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. You'll also work across cloud security, networking and observability, while having the opportunity to develop your technical expertise through training and professional certifications.

This role would suit an experienced DevOps Engineer looking to work fully remotely, develop your expertise within cyber security and DevSecOps, and take ownership of complex infrastructure projects.
