Job summary

La Fosse is partnering with a technology-led, cloud-first business to hire a hands-on DevOps Engineer in London. The role focuses on building scalable AWS infrastructure, implementing IaC with Terraform and driving automation across CI/CD, observability and security.

You will work across cross-functional squads with engineers in Europe and India, delivering reliable, scalable platforms and improving developer efficiency in a hybrid setup (1 day in office).

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Networking concepts including VPCs, routing and autoscaling.
• Monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and AWS best practices.
• Experience building, improving and automating infrastructure rather than purely supporting it.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working across a broad range of DevOps, platform and SRE responsibilities.

We're partnering with a growing technology-led business operating a large-scale cloud platform and looking to add a hands-on DevOps Engineer to their engineering team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building solutions from scratch, and taking ownership of cloud infrastructure rather than simply maintaining existing environments. You'll work as part of cross-functional product teams, helping to improve platform reliability, scalability, security and developer efficiency across a predominantly AWS estate.

The Role

You'll work closely with software engineers, QA engineers and data teams to design, build and optimise infrastructure that supports business-critical applications and data platforms.
