Contract: Fixed term 9 months (with possibility to extend)

Working hours: 35 hours per week. Flexible working patterns considered. Please specify your preference in your application.

Salary: Circa £58K

Reporting to: DevOps Lead

Office: London Docklands.

Our DevOps team provides technical expertise to support our business applications throughout the software development lifecycle.

As an applications support (DevOps) engineer, you’ll work closely with development, quality, infrastructure, and operations teams to facilitate software development, deployment, environment management, and support cloud-based applications like Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

You’ll also engage with suppliers on a technical level, ensuring support strategies align with our objectives, and recommend improvements for system robustness and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy IT solutions across environments including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Perform technical troubleshooting across systems and technologies.
• Scripting, testing, and deploying environment updates and infrastructure.
• Develop tools for performance monitoring, security, deployment, and cloud resource management.
• Plan for capacity, stability, automation, and system uptime improvements.

Minimum Criteria

• Experience supporting systems in Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and/or Power Platform.
• Strong technical skills in a Microsoft-based environment.
• Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban.
• Good communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
• Quick learner and accountable for new IT concepts.
