DevOps Engineer
6 Month contract initially
Based: Hybrid/Edinburgh (Max - 2-3 days p/w onsite)
Rate: £Market rates p/d (via Umbrella company)

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on DevOps Lead engineer to manage, secure, and continuously improve our organization's IT application CI and CD with Security measures. This role combines deep technical knowledge, covering a wide range of DevOps tools and skills, experience in troubleshooting, build and release. Candidates must have an end to end understanding of development life cycle and DevOps roles and responsibilities like automation, security, process and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proficient in CI and CD and automation testing
2. Strong understanding of software development and delivery lifecycles
3. Strong understanding of DevOps organization and Agile methodology
4. Software Delivery, Strong understanding of CI and CD
5. Experience in software delivery and release process
6. Required tools are - Ansible, DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform etc

Key Skills & Experience:

• CI, CD automation, Docker, K8s, Ansible, Jenkins, Version maintenance tools, Grafana, Unix and shell scripting, azure

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Power Transmission and Distribution domain
