About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic DevOps Engineer with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that blends modern DevOps practices with a focus on delivering technical excellence to enterprise clients. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting the design, deployment, and optimisation of infrastructure solutions that meet business and customer needs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working across the full delivery lifecycle, and building long-term relationships with clients through expert-level support and solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Engage directly with clients to understand technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver DevOps solutions tailored to their environments.
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS or Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Automate deployment and configuration of applications and services using scripting languages and configuration management tools.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
Provide ongoing post-deployment support to customers, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with software engineering, product, and support teams to streamline DevOps processes and improve the customer experience.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
Required:
Experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proven experience in a customer-facing or client-support capacity.
Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), and container orchestration.
Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with monitoring tools and log aggregation (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack, Grafana).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
Certification in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise-scale applications.
Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure cloud practices.
