As an experienced DevOps Engineer, you'll be at the heart of innovation, architecting and optimising the cloud infrastructure powering their proprietary CRM platform. This role offers you a chance to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation redefining Fintech!

Your Exciting Mission

• Design and implement platform services that support product development and feature expansion
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate development across multiple projects
• Optimise cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) for performance, scalability, and security
• Automate routine tasks to improve system efficiency
• Utilise monitoring tools like Grafana, CloudWatch, and DataDog to ensure peak system performance
• Troubleshoot infrastructure challenges across various environments
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and services
• Collaborate with development teams to build robust, high-performance environments
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions

This is a remote position within the UK.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency with Unix systems administration
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, etc.)
• Relational (MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) database experience
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Redis
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Networking knowledge (VPCs, security groups, VPN, DNS)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Grafana, CloudWatch
• Version control expertise (GitLab), including branching and merging practices
• Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript, Bash, PHP

Bonus Points:

• Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect
• Experience with automated testing and code quality tools
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and related services
• Experience with Amazon Connect and Kinesis
