Our client are are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to support the development and smooth operation of software systems across our organisation. You will play a critical role in driving automation, maintaining development environments, and ensuring high standards of code control. This role offers the opportunity to work in a purpose-driven environment, contributing to impactful digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust tools and testing environments to support agile software development.

  • Write and maintain software to automate system processes and reduce manual intervention.

  • Manage central code repositories and enforce development standards across projects.

  • Collaborate effectively with developers, IT personnel, and key stakeholders to create and support technical solutions.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues quickly to maintain service continuity and enhance system reliability.

  • Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.

  • Apply best practices in CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and internal governance requirements.

  • Provide technical input in planning, architecture, and design of new systems and features.

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in regular reviews and post-implementation evaluations to capture lessons learned.

  • Help develop internal capabilities and support colleagues in adopting DevOps methodologies.

Essentials:
