Our client is a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultancy, currently seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. They provide innovative digital and cyber security solutions to clients across the public and private sectors. The role involves working on large-scale Government and private sector projects.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer on contract to play a key role in a public sector digital transformation program. The focus is on automation, cloud infrastructure optimization, and enabling seamless continuous delivery across development and operations teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure with high availability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with Groovy scripting for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools like Terraform, Vagrant, along with Shell, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker, ensuring smooth deployment and environment consistency.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager to proactively address performance issues.
• Promote DevOps best practices in automation, security, and agile delivery to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Practical experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Azure infrastructure management.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and IaC frameworks.
• Strong collaboration skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
