What You’ll Do
Projects you may be involved in include:
- Automating the creation of infrastructure on AWS with a focus on high standards for security, performance, and reliability.
- Contributing to architectural discussions as we scale to hundreds of new venues this year.
- Designing and implementing infrastructure for new services, including those powered by in-house machine learning models.
- Assisting in our implementation of SOC2 and ISO27001.
- Testing and refining our disaster recovery plan.
Ideal Skills and Experience
While your work ethic and attitude matter most, the following experience is beneficial:
- Experience running and operating production workloads on AWS.
- Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab experience is a bonus).
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
- Ability to reason about large systems at scale, considering edge cases and failure modes.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO27001.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, ready to take on a variety of technical tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
