Job summary

Experis UK in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a DevOps Engineer with SC clearance or eligibility to join a high-performing team delivering secure, scalable infrastructure for Defence & Security programmes.

You will build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, develop infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible/Packer, and manage containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong cloud, monitoring, and security practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with scripting or development in one or more languages.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity or similar.
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and system performance.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL Server) and job scheduling tools.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities
