Job summary

TCM Partners is recruiting two DevOps Engineers to design, build and operate cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will drive secure, scalable production systems, improve automation and streamline deployments on greenfield initiatives.

The role requires hands-on scripting with Python, PowerShell or Bash, Terraform and Azure DevOps, plus container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes (AKS). Manchester-based with remote options, two days per week in the office, and a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Strong practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including deploying and managing containerised applications.
• Proficiency in Terraform and experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML and associated automation tools.
• Python skills, alongside PowerShell or Bash scripting.
• Experience deploying, operating and supporting AI, machine learning, API and cloud application workloads in live production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Azure with a focus on security, reliability and scalability.
• Build, maintain and optimize deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Support production workloads and ensure uptime for AI/cloud-based applications.

Manchester / Remote (2 days per week in Manchester)

Our client is continuing to invest in its technology and innovation capabilities and is looking to recruit 2x DevOps Engineers to support the development and delivery of its next generation of cloud and AI solutions.

These roles offer the opportunity to work on greenfield initiatives, modern, cloud-native platforms, helping to design, build and maintain secure, scalable and highly available solutions across Microsoft Azure. You’ll play a key role in improving automation, streamlining deployment processes and ensuring AI and cloud-based applications are robust, resilient and production-ready.
