Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Manchester, UK, for a full-time hybrid role. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on continuous integration, development, build, and deployment using automation and cloud technologies to support the growth of DevOps tooling.

• Migrate existing applications to Cloud and build new applications on Cloud.
• Automate build jobs for CI/CD development, build, and deployment of applications on Cloud.
• Build and support Cloud platforms (internal/external) and complex multi-tiered infrastructure environments.
• Work with cutting-edge CI/CD technologies, identify improvements, and collaborate with multiple teams to implement solutions. Support a broad infrastructure tech stack including Linux, Windows, RDBMS, Networks, JBOSS, Micro-Service Architecture.
• Support test environment build and resolve issues, ensuring seamless DevOps delivery from development to production.

Your Profile

• Essential Skills: Strong scripting and integration skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Chef, Perl), build engineering, and deployment automation.
• DevOps tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, JIRA, Stash, GIT, TeamCity, Nolio.
• Cloud technologies: OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, deploying and configuring JBOSS, SpringBoot, etc.
• Strong Jenkins experience managing continuous integration.
• Desirable Skills: Micro-service architecture, APIs, JBoss application server, database knowledge, Active Directory, RHEL, App Dynamics, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana), Splunk, understanding of code quality and security gates.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
