Position: Senior/Lead Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer

I am currently partnered with a trading firm that is looking for a Senior/Lead Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to help build out the infrastructure for a new platform. The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical prowess, hands-on expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit. If you have a background in low-latency development, your profile will stand out even more.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, Lambda, Aurora, S3, ECS, Fargate, and Kubernetes.
2. Design and manage high-performance data streaming platforms using Apache Kafka/Kinesis.
3. Establish robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS CodePipeline to ensure seamless software delivery.
4. Monitor system health and performance using AWS CloudWatch and other relevant tools.
5. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using Terraform.
6. Implement and enforce best practices for AWS security and networking.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

1. Proven experience in low-latency development and real-time data environments.
2. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services and tools.
3. Strong proficiency in Apache Kafka/Kinesis, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
4. Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
5. Familiarity with AWS security principles and networking concepts.
