What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of a Software Engineering team, you’ll be working with our Customers to build systems that support their core mission capabilities. You’ll work as part of empowered, autonomous DevOps teams with regular contact with end-users to flexibly and efficiently understand, design, develop, deploy and maintain applications and services.

  • Contribute to refinement of non-functional requirements
  • Drive the prioritisation and delivery of backlogs
  • Implement security best-practices and recommendations; often through the means of developed services and automation
  • Facilitate an effective relationship between third party suppliers and Home Office platform teams
  • Participate in workstream and project Scrum ceremonies
  • Raise issues and risks appropriately
  • Ability to operate in small cross-functional engineering teams to build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services
  • Create quality documentation and Jira ticket commentary
