Our client is a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultancy, currently looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team! They offer innovative digital and cyber security solutions to clients in the public and private sectors. You will work on interesting large-scale Government and private sector projects.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

We’re seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to play a critical role in a public sector digital transformation program. Join a high-performing team focused on automation, cloud infrastructure optimization, and seamless continuous delivery across development and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with Groovy scripting for automated application build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and system configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform, Vagrant, and scripting languages like Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker, supporting deployment and environment consistency.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Promote DevOps best practices in automation, security, and agile delivery to improve operational efficiency and team productivity.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure management
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC frameworks
• Collaborative, proactive, with strong problem-solving skills
