You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, streamline deployments, and contribute your expertise throughout the project lifecycle.   • Design and document new processes, keeping existing documentation current.

  • Handle code deployments across all stages of the SDLC.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute DevOps expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the on-call rota for critical production issues.

Are you passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and high-performing environments? We’re on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our development and infrastructure teams, streamlining deployment, enhancing performance, and driving continuous improvement across our systems. This role will suit someone with experience of multiple technologies who, whilst retaining an interest in the individual technologies, wishes to take a broader view of application solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement across our environments
  • Design and document new processes, keeping existing documentation current
  • Enhance security posture and monitor environments proactively
  • Handle code deployments across all stages of the SDLC
  • Collaborate closely with developers, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams
  • Keep technical knowledge and documentation up-to-date
  • Contribute DevOps expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Participate in the on-call rota to respond to critical production issues
  • Proactively identify and implement automation opportunities

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in IT, Computing, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in monitoring and tuning systems to provide optimum performance and high availability
  • Experience in managing internal and external system security
