Our client is a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultancy, currently seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. They provide innovative digital and cybersecurity solutions to clients in both the public and private sectors. The role involves working on large-scale government and private sector projects.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to contribute to a public sector digital transformation program. The successful candidate will focus on automation, cloud infrastructure optimization, and enabling seamless continuous delivery across development and operations teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure with high availability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripting for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools like Terraform, Vagrant, and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker, ensuring streamlined deployment and environment consistency.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager to proactively address system issues.
• Promote DevOps best practices in automation, security, and agile delivery to improve operational efficiency and team productivity.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC frameworks.
