Our client is a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultancy. They are currently looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. They offer innovative digital and cyber security solutions to clients from the public and private sectors. You'll work on large-scale Government and private sector projects.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

We’re seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to play a key role in a public sector digital transformation program. Join a high-performing team focused on automation, cloud infrastructure optimization, and seamless continuous delivery across development and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with Groovy scripting for automated application build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools like Terraform, Vagrant, and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker, supporting deployment and environment consistency.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager to proactively resolve performance issues.
• Promote DevOps best practices in automation, security, and agile delivery to improve operations and team productivity.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC frameworks.
