The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of networking technologies and be capable of connecting computers and embedded devices.

About the role…

1. You will work closely with development teams, such as hardware engineers and software developers, to provide operational support, document processes, and system configurations.
2. You will manage and respond to system outages and resolve potential issues proactively to prevent user impact.
3. You will ensure systems are consistently operational and optimized.
4. You will design, implement, and manage robust networks, including configuring switches and managing connected devices.
5. You will manage Docker containers and instrument CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and updates, ensuring system stability and performance.

About you…

1. You possess strong collaborative skills, with the ability to engage effectively within a team environment.
2. You have a strong understanding of networking technologies and experience connecting computers and embedded devices.
3. You have at least 2 years of experience working in the engineering industry.
4. You have previous experience working with complex systems.

Technical skills required for the role…

• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and version control workflows.
• Ability to develop and maintain code using Python.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
