Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services for our enterprise-grade environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to build secure cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform and drive automation through IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, champion GitOps, improve deployment reliability, optimize costs, and advance operational excellence with runbooks and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Significant experience operating highly available production systems at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and reusable infrastructure modules.
• Build self-service platform capabilities enabling engineering teams to provision and manage infrastructure efficiently.
• Implement infrastructure standards, governance controls, and automation frameworks across environments.
• Drive deployment automation, release management, environment provisioning, and configuration management.
• Improve deployment reliability through progressive delivery, automated testing, and guardrails.
• Champion GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices across the engineering landscape.
• Lead resolution of complex production incidents and improve operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization while maintaining performance.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience (10+ years) in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
