Techshack Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with active eDV clearance for a 6-month contract in the UK public sector. The role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes across AWS or Azure.

You will contribute to secure, regulated environment projects, applying DevSecOps practices, and implementing monitoring and observability to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering.
• Strong CI/CD and IaC capabilities (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, monitoring and observability.
• Experience delivering in secure or regulated environments.

DevOps Engineer – UK Public Sector | Contract - £650 - 750 per day Outside IR35

I’m currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with active eDV clearance for an exciting opportunity within the UK public sector.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS OR Azure
• Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, monitoring and observability.
• Experience delivering solutions within secure or regulated environments.

Clearance:

Active eDV clearance essential.

Day rate

- £650 - 750 a day Outside IR35

Duration

- 6 Month contract
