Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is recruiting an experienced DevOps Architect for a 9-month contract in Corsham, UK. The role focuses on designing and delivering secure DevOps platforms within highly secure, air-gapped environments and providing technical leadership across architecture and automation.

You will implement integrated CI/CD with GitLab, Jira and Confluence, and produce security artefacts, HLDs/LLDs, and runbooks while ensuring compliance and platform optimisation

Qualifications

• Active DV clearance required.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Architect/Senior DevOps Engineer in secure or regulated environments.
• Strong expertise with GitLab CI/CD, repositories, runners and security.
• Strong expertise with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience designing DevOps platforms in air-gapped environments.
• Ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, runbooks and security artefacts.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python and YAML.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Consultant to join a high-profile UK Government programme, designing and delivering secure DevOps platforms within highly secure, air-gapped environments. This is a 9-month contract with hybrid working in Corsham, requiring two days per week on site, and it is inside IR35 with a day rate of £650 to £700. You will play a key role in shaping the DevOps capability that underpins critical national infrastructure, working with modern tooling and providing technical leadership across architecture, automation and platform assurance.
