Job description

As a DevOps Architect, you will architect scalable, resilient, and secure DevOps solutions that drive operational efficiency and accelerate software delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, oversee the adoption of cloud technologies, and implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement scalable DevOps solutions using AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
  2. Architect and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools to streamline development and deployment cycles.
  3. Use Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  4. Work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure the successful integration and deployment of applications.
  5. Monitor and optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and scalability, leveraging tools like AWS Cost Explorer or CloudWatch.
  6. Implement best practices for security, including IAM, encryption, and auditing, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers and junior staff.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar public cloud platforms.
  2. Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  3. Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  4. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS for container orchestration.
  5. Familiarity with cloud security principles, IAM policies, and data protection mechanisms.
  6. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, IT operations, and security.
  7. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in cloud-based and distributed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Kubernetes Administrator, or similar certifications.
  2. Experience in microservices architecture, serverless computing, and multi-cloud environments.
  3. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
  4. Experience working in Agile environments with Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.
