Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a specialist security infrastructure package on a major project in Devon. You will lead site leadership, ensure health and safety compliance, maintain project documentation, and liaise with the client and stakeholders.

The role is site-based with a Ltd Company or CIS contract, immediate start until December 2026, at £350-£400 per day. Strong CSCS, BPSS clearance and CDM know-how are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Manager in construction, infrastructure or security installations.
• Gold CSCS Card required and BPSS security clearance eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and CDM.
• Experience maintaining project docs and attending client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management of a specialist security infrastructure package.
• Maintain health and safety documentation and project records.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Attend health & safety, progress, planning and coordination meetings.
• Be primary client/stakeholder liaison and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors to support delivery.
• Manage RAMS, permits, inspections, audits and site records.
• Conduct regular site inspections and compliance audits.
• Manage QA processes and handover documentation.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
