Device Manufacturing Engineer

Our leading edge Oxford-based client is currently searching for a Device Manufacturing Engineer to be involved in the inspection, cleaning (wet bench), stock control, packaging logistics, pre-deployment testing, and failure analysis of quantum devices. The role involves managing devices through fabrication facilities, understanding differences in capability and timeline. Additionally, you will prepare test samples requiring in-house wire bonding and other steps, and may be involved in measurements using these test samples.

The successful candidate will have experience working with silicon or photonic devices at the die and package level.

Required Skills:

1. Strong experience working with silicon devices at die and packaged level.
2. Experience in device failure analysis, focusing on metallic and photonic failure mechanisms.
3. Experience working with third-party suppliers.
4. Strong internal and external communication skills.
5. Degree qualified.
