Hours: Ideally full time 40 hours per week
Working pattern: Work from the office once a week / Weekend work: one a month from home

This role will join the Senior Clinical team to be a part of overall management of services. The main remit of this role is to develop services either existing or new services. This will be a full time role weekend clinical work will be required.
A mix of clinical and development work is expected.
Part time/ job share considered.

We use asynchronous message based consulting to provide a variety of healthcare services. We also use telephone and video consultations for a small number of our patients. You will be a part of a GP team and youll report to the Deputy Medical Director. Half the role will be spent working to improve our current services and develop new opportunities. You will spend the rest of your time managing patients.
We have virtual coffees every day and regular inperson and remote teaching.
Existing services:
Using your deep knowledge of medicine patient behaviour and your understanding of technology to advise and implement improvements. This work would be in conjunction with the wider clinical team as well as the product and commercial teams. Your work will be determined by the Medical Director but self defined targets are encouraged.
You will work with the Governance Lead to ensure improvements are also determined by changing regulations guidance or medicolegal concerns. You will take part in quality assurance work.
New Services:
Led by the Medical Director and Commercial Director you will investigate new opportunities. Your role would be to develop an indepth clinical plan for new suggestions.
This work would also overlap with some wider Boots initiatives.
Key deliverables:
With the commercial team manage the new service pipeline
With our product team further develop robust feedback mechanisms for patients.
With our Governance Lead maintain clear documentation and risk assessment
Work with clinical leads to improve current services using data.
Continue to develop our asynchronous platform against emerging data.
Managing Patients:
Manage messagebased and telephone/ video consultations.
Oversee non Medical prescribers when working clinically.
Clinical Weekend work: one weekend in 4 from home.
Who would this role suit:
Someone who is up for a challenge and open to building a role. You need to be able to complete projects independently but with an ability to ask for help quickly if needed. A humble personality along with an ability to calmly explain your knowledge and views.
You will be a fast learner and someone who really wants to build something.
