Responsibilities

• Prepare stock, pastes and seasoning samples as requested for customer briefs, application needs, performance testing, QC standards and physical testing
• Assist in applying seasonings, pastes and stocks to food products when required
• Maintain organised and updated stock of raw materials / flavours / snacks bases in the labs
• Responsible for shipping samples
• Maintain all required formula records and brief documentation in company database software
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EHS guidelines and good laboratory practices

Your professional profile:

• A level/s in food science or chemistry or biology or physics or maths
• Or Bachelor’s Degree in food science or chemistry or biology or physics or maths
• Plus 1 years’ experience in a food applications lab, production, or related area such as quality control (1 year degree placement experience is accepted)
• Demonstrable focus on delivering to customers
• Competent use of Microsoft word and excel and ability to learn new software programmes
• Ability to follow formulations, blend with speed and accuracy
• Knowledge of EHS and ability to be EHS ambassador for the department
