Location: Daventry
Contract Basis: 6-month Ongoing (Inside IR35)
Pay Rate: GBP25.00 per hour (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities of the Development Technician:

  • Full vehicle preparation, assembly, and build, with a focus on Prototype and Concept Vehicle Builds
  • Development of practices in;
    • General Assembly
    • Powertrain (Engine build / transmission)
    • Chassis sub-assembly
    • Brake systems
    • Body in White
    • Electrical assembly / instrumentation
    • Fabrication, machining and welding
  • Diagnosing and logging build issues while contributing to engineering improvements.

Hours & Pay:

  • Hours: Day Shift: Monday Friday (8:00 AM 17:00 PM). Overtime opportunities available.
  • Pay: GBP25 per PAYE (to be uplifted to be paid via a PAYE Umbrella model).

Please note, this role is deemed inside of IR35. The final Umbrella pay rate offered will be inclusive of the Assignment pay rate, holiday pay and Apex Recruitments contribution towards Employer Costs.
