Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Sales Negotiator to join our busy Marlborough office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge while working with a varied portfolio. As the post holder, you will help generate new sales business for the office, negotiate profitable sales, and contribute to the growth of the office by meeting set targets and ensuring compliance with our sales SOPs. Additionally, you will help build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

  • Generate market appraisals, develop new business, and manage your own portfolio of clients to meet or exceed targets (collaborating with other CJ offices as needed)
  • Liaise with prospective purchasers, vendors, and viewing staff; arrange viewings, market appraisals, and negotiate offers
  • Proactively manage applicants and communicate effectively, utilizing databases like Reapit to keep applicant information current and generate potential sales
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and applicants
  • Provide vendor feedback and maintain clear communication
  • Contribute to the sales department's overall success and profitability
  • Support Carter Jonas's reputation by delivering high-quality service
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance in file management and communications
  • Assist other staff members during holiday periods as needed

What will it take to be successful?

We are looking for someone with proven property sales experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. You should be a strong team player, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines. IT literacy and familiarity with databases and relevant software are essential. Experience in the local residential sales market is highly desirable.
