Residential/Housing Development - 5 yrs PQE+

National firm with tier 1 rated Development team

Senior Associate up to Legal Director

Guildford with hybrid working

We have been instructed on this outstanding opportunity to work in a team with important client relationships in a high-performing residential development practice, undertaking top-quality work.

The Firm

This full-service commercial firm has a clear vision and purpose. Ambitious and confident, the firm has grown by bringing in talented individuals and developing rising stars. The predominantly young partnership is a successful mix of home-grown lawyers and external hires.

The Role

This position offers the chance to work in the firm’s specialist development practice, assisting Partners on market-leading projects. You will be mentored by experienced Partners to support your career progression.

The department operates on an advisory “business partnering” basis with clients including national, regional, and smaller developers, as well as social housing providers, across matters such as:

• Site acquisition and setup
• Infrastructure and planning agreements
• Secured lending

The team is highly specialized, with members ranked on L500 and Chambers for development and real estate. It works alongside the firm's successful real estate department.

You

We seek an experienced and ambitious development lawyer with sector exposure or transactional experience. Your current practice may be broad or focused. The key is your passion and ambition to develop the practice and your career. Ideally, you will have 5+ years PQE, but all levels are encouraged to apply.
