Supporting the Development team, which provides transport planning, civil infrastructure, and urban design support on development and masterplanning projects, this role is key to our growth in Cambridge, East Anglia, the East of England, and nationally. We seek a Technical Director with a development transport planning background, already embedded in the local and regional market, focusing on client activities, business growth, market strategy, and technical leadership. This role supports our initiative to diversify our team in terms of staff and revenue.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in winning and delivering work within a multidisciplinary consultancy, with experience across public and private sectors. Sector specialization is a plus but not essential. They will also manage large tender proposals and identify new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
The Development Team is a high-performing part of our Planning and Development discipline, with over 800 colleagues involved in project delivery from land acquisition to scheme implementation.
