Job summary

Trinity College Cambridge is seeking a Development Officer (Regular Giving) to lead the College's regular giving activities and engage with Fellows, alumni, friends and donors. You will write persuasively, manage time effectively and work under pressure to deliver results.

Knowledge of mass market fundraising and GDPR-aware data segmentation within a CRM (RENXT) is essential, including gift fulfilment and donor stewardship.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with mass market fundraising or regular giving programmes.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data segmentation within a CRM is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Trinity College Cambridge's regular giving activities.

  • Ensure GDPR compliance and data segmentation in the CRM.

Job description

The Alumni Relations and Development Office at Trinity College is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join its professional and friendly team. The office works with Fellows, alumni, friends, and donors, raising funds to support the College and its activities, alongside delivering a busy alumni relations’ programme including over 50 events.

The Development Officer (Regular Giving) is the lead for all the College’s regular giving activities. We are looking for an excellent communicator, with good time management and interpersonal skills, an ability to write persuasively and work efficiently under pressure. The role is ideal for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic about seeking support for projects at Trinity and has knowledge of mass market fundraising or regular giving programmes, including GDPR and data segmentation within a relationship management system (e.g. RE NXT), fulfilment of gifts, and stewardship of donors.

Salary: £32,000 to £36,000, plus other benefits, including free private health and dental care.
