Charity Recruit is seeking a Development Manager for an established cultural charity, with a £35,000 FTE salary and an initial 6-month contract. Hybrid working is offered, based in Winchester with some home-working, and there is potential for the role to become permanent as the structure evolves.

You will join a senior development team, reporting to an experienced Head of Development, and contribute to shaping the fundraising function beyond a single fixed role.

• You will support the development and delivery of fundraising activity across a broad portfolio of work.
• Develop relationships with donors and supporters.
• Grow philanthropy and giving programmes.
• Support the development of a corporate partnerships pipeline.
• Research prospects and build fundraising pipelines.
• Develop and write funding applications.
• Support donor stewardship and fundraising campaigns.
• Work across the organisation to identify new fundraising opportunities.
• Maintain accurate fundraising data and support income reporting.
