This is a high-impact leadership role—perfect for someone with strong engineering foundations, experience delivering robust financial platforms, and a deep understanding of finance systems in trading or financial services environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead the build of a new finance technology platform from scratch, designed to support global treasury operations, multi-entity general ledger systems, and real-time cash & payment processing—with full integration into trading and risk platforms.

You’ll be the central link between engineering and Finance stakeholders, ensuring seamless architecture, delivery, and data flow between front-office and back-office systems.

You’ll also influence the roadmap for enterprise finance tooling—building scalable, automated infrastructure to support complex financial control, reporting, and reconciliation workflows.

Team Scope

Leading a cross-functional engineering team (~10–12 developers)

Core stack: C# .NET with React / Node.js (plus Python for data automation)

Oversight of treasury, payments, ledger, and reconciliation systems

Deep focus on architecture, scalability, and compliance

Strong stakeholder engagement with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Ops

What We’re Looking For

Experience leading the delivery of financial systems—such as treasury platforms, payment engines, or general ledger applications

Strong technical background in C# .NET (enterprise-level systems)

Understanding of financial workflows within a trading or banking environment—especially cash management, settlements, accounting, and reconciliation

Proven leadership experience—team building, agile delivery, stakeholder alignment

Clear communicator—comfortable working across Finance, Tech, Ops, and Audit

Remuneration & Benefits

Base salary up to £150,000

Bonus up to 30%+

Hybrid working (2–3 days/week in London office)

Career progression in a profitable, growing trading firm
