A prominent infrastructure firm seeks a Development Manager for their Stations and buildings contract in the Wales & Western region. The candidate will oversee pre-construction projects and collaborate with teams to deliver quality solutions. We are seeking a Development Manager, (externally to Octavius this is very similar to a Design Co-ordinator / Manager role), for our Stations and buildings contract in the Wales & Western region. This is a hybrid role based from our Swindon and Bristol offices, home, and occasional site visits.
As Development Manager you will be responsible for successful development of a sub-package of pre-construction works for both Network Rail and Octavius Infrastructure. You will develop schemes through design and other pre-construction activities, to hand over to our Delivery teams. This entails working closely with customers, stakeholders, design partners, suppliers and delivery teams to create solutions that delight our customers, are of a high quality, within the financial targets set. You will lead by example by engendering the collaborative culture throughout the project team, including suppliers and customers, ensuring that everyone works towards our common vision of a vibrant delivery mechanism that delivers on promises, that has safety at its core.
A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as Network Rail.
